Overview

Producing wide-mouth jars by extrusion blow molding gives a seamless, rigid HDPE body with a large opening formed in the same cycle. The servo-hydraulic drive holds wall thickness steady around the wide neck where material tends to thin, and automatic deflashing in line removes the parting-line and neck flash so jars come out finished. Run single or double station to match jar size and volume, with AMAN supplying the matching mould and neck tooling.

One machine covers a range of sizes: you only change the mould to make a different product. The machine must be selected according to the LARGEST product you plan to make — running a small product on a large machine is possible, but you lose some efficiency and some material.
