Big rigid panels like a headboard or armrest need a large, even parison delivered fast, which is exactly what an accumulator die head does - it stores melt and releases it in one controlled shot so wall thickness stays uniform across a wide part. The fixed-station layout suits these bulky mouldings, and the demand-metered servo-hydraulic drive cuts power draw while in-line deflashing removes pinch-off flash automatically.
