Overview
Wet-tissue lids are thin-walled flip covers that have to seal tightly and hinge thousands of times, so the machine runs a hot-runner, multi-cavity mould to fill every cavity evenly and waste no material in runners. The servo-electric drive holds shot weight and clamp force steady cycle after cycle, which keeps the living hinge and snap fit consistent across the whole cavity set.

One machine covers a range of sizes: you only change the mould to make a different product. The machine must be selected according to the LARGEST product you plan to make — running a small product on a large machine is possible, but you lose some efficiency and some material. Send us your smallest and your largest product (size and weight) and we will confirm whether one machine is enough.
Flip top cap moulds are one of the three kinds of tooling we do best. Order the flip top cap mould with this machine and we make it in our own workshop, then ship machine and mould as one set, tested and tuned together. The mould itself takes 40–60 days from approved drawings. Send your part drawing and we quote the machine together with the mould.
