Overview
These water caps carry a tamper-evident band that has to be slit and folded after moulding, so the line pairs a hot-runner, multi-cavity mould with downstream cutting, slitting and folding to finish the security band in process. Filling every cavity evenly keeps the band and thread consistent, and the servo-electric drive sustains the high output beverage caps require. One machine covers a range of sizes: you only change the mould to make a different product. The machine must be selected according to the LARGEST product you plan to make — running a small product on a large machine is possible, but you lose some efficiency and some material. Send us your smallest and your largest product (size and weight) and we will confirm whether one machine is enough.
Order the cap mould with this machine and we make it in our own workshop, then ship machine and mould as one set, tested and tuned together. The mould itself takes 40–60 days from approved drawings. Send your part drawing and we quote the machine together with the mould.
