Overview

A stadium chair is a large hollow HDPE part that has to carry weight without flex points, and that depends on getting plastic where it is needed. The automatic parison controller varies wall thickness along the parison length, reinforcing high-stress zones of the seat while keeping the rest light. Energy-saving servo-hydraulic drive powers the large mould movements efficiently, and automatic in-line deflashing removes the long seams left by sizable parts.
