Thick Wall Jelly Jar Injection Blow Molding Machine
Energy-saving injection blow molding equipment for thick-wall petroleum jelly jars. The one-step inject-blow process builds the heavier wall these jars need while servo drive keeps the energy cost of that extra material in check.
Overview
Thick-wall jars demand more material and more controlled blowing, and this equipment injects then blows each jar in one cycle to hold that heavier wall evenly without a flash seam. The energy-saving drive offsets the power normally added by the thicker section, so a sturdier jar does not mean a costlier cycle. Running HDPE, PP or PE on an inject/blow rotary layout, it produces seamless jars with a precise rim, and AMAN tailors wall thickness and cavitation to the cosmetic range.
Key features
- Thick, even wall built in one inject-blow cycle
- Energy-saving drive offsets heavier-section power use
- Seamless jars with a precise sealing rim
- Runs HDPE, PP or PE on rotary stations
Application
Thick-wall HDPE, PP and PE jars for petroleum jelly, creams, salves and premium cosmetic packaging.

One machine covers a range of sizes: you only change the mould to make a different product. The machine must be selected according to the LARGEST product you plan to make — running a small product on a large machine is possible, but you lose some efficiency and some material. Send us your smallest and your largest product (size and weight) and we will confirm whether one machine is enough.
We also make injection blow (IBM) moulds in our own workshop. Trial bottles are moulded on our own machine and ship with the tool. Injection blow moulds take 25–35 days from approved drawings.
Each machine is configured to your container; the final specification is written into your quotation.
