PC 5 Gallon Bottle Extrusion Blow Molding Machine
An automatic extrusion blow molding machine for PC 5-gallon bottles in the 10L-30L range. Polycarbonate gives the clarity and impact strength a returnable water bottle needs through repeated wash-and-refill cycles.
Overview
A 5-gallon water bottle is reused many times, so PC is chosen for its transparency and resistance to cracking, and this machine forms the large bottle with servo-hydraulic clamping that holds the heavy mould steady under blowing pressure. The energy-saving drive controls power on these large 10L-30L parts, and consistent wall thickness keeps the bottle strong at the neck and base where stress concentrates. Automatic in-line deflashing finishes each bottle for capping and filling.

One machine covers a range of sizes: you only change the mould to make a different product. The machine must be selected according to the LARGEST product you plan to make — running a small product on a large machine is possible, but you lose some efficiency and some material. Send us your smallest and your largest product (size and weight) and we will confirm whether one machine is enough.
We also make the blow mould for your bottle in our own workshop and try it out on a machine before it ships. Blow moulds take 25–35 days from approved drawings.
