5L Jerry Can Engine Oil Bottle Blow Molding Machine
An extrusion blow molding machine for 5L jerry cans and the bottles up to 5 L used for engine oil, chemicals and laundry liquids. Its in-line deflashing matters here, where handled jerry cans leave large flash at the grip and base.
Overview
Jerry cans and oil containers carry integral handles and thick walls, which generate heavy flash - in-line trimming is available as part of the cycle, confirmed per project, so cans come off finished and stackable. The servo-hydraulic drive holds wall thickness through the handle and shoulder where these containers are prone to thinning, and single or double station setups let you scale from sample runs to steady production. HDPE and multi-material running covers oil, agro-chemical and detergent packaging up to 5 L.

One machine covers a range of sizes: you only change the mould to make a different product. The machine must be selected according to the LARGEST product you plan to make — running a small product on a large machine is possible, but you lose some efficiency and some material. Send us your smallest and your largest product (size and weight) and we will confirm whether one machine is enough.
We also make jerry can blow moulds in our own workshop. Each one is tried out on a machine before it ships. Blow moulds take 25–35 days from approved drawings.
