The requirement

In the daily-chemicals aisle a brand rarely sells just one bottle. This Pakistani manufacturer juggled multiple SKUs and colours — light-blue detergent bottles among them — each with its own shape and volume, switching between them constantly. Producing that variety without wall thickness drifting from batch to batch was the core problem.

Wall thickness is where the money is: thin spots weaken a bottle and invite leaks, while over-thick walls waste resin on every unit and erode margin at scale. Different geometries — a slim cleaner bottle versus a wide-body detergent jug — distribute material very differently, and frequent colour and mould changeovers eat into uptime. Holding wall and weight consistent across every colour and SKU, run after run, was what they needed solved.

The line AMAN delivered

AMAN delivered a double-head extrusion blow molding line built for exactly this high-mix HDPE household-bottle production. Twin heads lift output per cycle while independent parison wall-thickness programming tunes each profile so wall distribution and part weight stay consistent across very different bottle geometries — directly attacking both the flimsy-bottle and the over-weight-bottle failure modes and keeping resin usage disciplined SKU to SKU.

The line was configured for the reality of frequent switchovers: quick mould-change provisions to shorten downtime between SKUs and a layout that supports fast colour transitions, so the customer can chase short runs across many products without bleeding uptime. AMAN validated the multi-cavity balance and wall-thickness programs on production-representative HDPE during its own pre-shipment production and testing — the footage here shows the line in production at AMAN — then handed over with training and after-sales support.
